Bill and Karla have been Texas residents for 26 years and have worked in the healthcare industry for their entire professional lives; They have been married for 37 years and have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and a new granddaughter.
Their life experiences and achievements help to strengthen the partnership they hope to build with the clients that come to see them for counseling and support.

Karla Beaman
My work history has been in healthcare, and I helped patients manage anxiety in the dental chair for 30 years as a licensed dental hygienist. I became a nontraditional student at the University of North Texas, earned my undergraduate degree in social work, and completed my studies at Texas Christian University in 2016, graduating with a licensed master's degree in social work.
I bring experience working in multiple environments and extensive training in mindfulness, brainspotting, and trauma therapy.
I work with clients who feel trapped, stagnant, frustrated, and fearful in their current circumstances. If you are looking for relief from a painful and frustrating relationship or situation, I can help you identify barriers keeping you from transitioning into your best possible life.

Bill Beaman
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over three decades as a Registered Nurse and enjoyed a successful healthcare career. In those roles, I understood how the human needs of connection and meaning are as vital as our needs for air, water, food, and shelter. All of these needs must be met to be able to live and thrive.
I provide therapy for individuals (13 and older), couples, and families experiencing addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, issues associated with chronic illness, significant life events requiring dynamic adjustment, and trauma. I am trained in Brainspotting.
